Mercy Hill Church is a community of imperfect people committed to living out the good news of Jesus in our everyday lives. Some are skeptics, some are seekers, and others have been in this faith journey for many years. Wherever you may be, we want you to feel loved, cherished, and welcomed.
Our Mission: Worship. Love. Serve.
The Gospel of Jesus is what transforms us as individuals, unites us in fellowship, and drives us on mission. It is the bedrock for our faith and the sustanance that allows us to grow in our relationship with Him. Everything that we are, everything that we do, everything that we want to become is centered around the life transforming power of Jesus.
We believe a life transformed by God will result in three things: Worshipping God passionately, Loving our neighbor deeply, and Serving the world boldly.
OUR STORY & LEADERSHIP
SEE WHATS HAPPENING
The Gospel of Jesus unites us together as family, therefore community is crucial to Christianity. We need people in our lives who know us, love us, and will encourage us in our relationship with God. At the end of the day, the Church is not like a family, the church is a family. Therefore, we eat together, study God’s word together, and serve together.
SUNDAYS | Mercy Hill Church meets every Sunday at 5:00p.m.
Every Sunday we gather as a church to worship, pray, and study God’s word. Whether you are a skeptic or have been Christian for many years, we’d like to invite you to check us out.
We believe that the most effective way God speaks to us is through the Bible. During our service we spend about 35 minutes listening and learning from God’s word, taught by one of the pastors of Mercy Hill Church.
LOCATION | 60 I Street SW, Washington DC 20024
There is plenty of free on-street parking on Sundays around the Church. We also have limited parking in our church parking lot.
If you are in need of a wheelchair accessible entrance or would like to avoid stairs, please pull through the driveway towards the doors located there on the opposite side of the building.
Nehemiah is in the midst of not only building the walls of Jerusalem, but building community. In his attempt to restore identity to the people and purpose and passion for God, Nehemiah focuses on what matters when it comes to the people of God.
This week Nehemiah focuses on renewing our love for God and how it stems from God’s word.

WILL CLARK, FAMILY PASTOR
ELISHA CLARK, GIRL’S YOUTH LEADER/FINANCE DIRECTOR
In 2013, Jon and Amber Spallino felt called to plant a church in SW Waterfront D.C. After years preparing and planning, they moved in August 2016 to start laying the vision for Mercy Hill Church.
Shortly after arriving, they were able to connect with the school system, as well as, other organizations in meaningful partnerships, where Mercy Hill Church can invest in the SW community. They started a community group in October 2016 that meets on Tuesdays at 6:30pm.
As Mercy Hill Church grows, they pray that God will use Mercy Hill to be a beacon of hope and love in the community.
